Potential Sessions and Flow

Session 1: Resilient Self –
Know your strengths and build your skills.

2-day session

The course is based on the proven concept that when people understand and apply their strengths and are aware of their reactive tendencies, the effect on their lives and work is transformational. You will walk away with a detailed action plan for how to practically apply your new skills in your work and personal life.

Session 2: Mastering Conflict –
Adding diverse ways of navigating conflict to your repertoire.

1-day session

You will take the Thomas Kilman Instrument (TKI) and receive results about the five ways that people handle conflict. A very experiential workshop with real tools to help you see conflict more constructively. You will walk away with an appreciation that different types of conflict require different approaches, and each of us has the capacity to access them.

Session 3: AIM to Action –
Working constructively with others.

1-day session

When we manage others, we have to influence the people around us to move the agenda forward. How can we do that when we are faced with obstacles and roadblocks? In this workshop, you will walk away with a greater understanding that the only thing we can really control is ourselves. And that leading others is about earning the right to be followed.

Session 4: Candid Conversations –
Work with others more powerfully.

2-day session

In this two-day session, you will build on the skills you learned in the previous session to develop and support a culture of trust where people feel valued and listened to. You will learn how to get the most out of feedback you receive, have courageous conversations, cultivate genuine curiosity, recognize other people’s strengths and be even more collaborative.

Session 5: Unleashing Potential –
The coach approach to managing.

1-day session

This session examines the basic assumptions we have about “managing” others. It offers a broader lens to help you grow as a manager and expand the capabilities of your teams in a motivational way. Coaching assumes that the other person knows as much or more than you do and, with focus on you as the coach/manager, this session helps you unleash the hidden gifts of your team. This session is based on The Coaching Roadmap, which takes you through an easy-to-use coaching approach you can use immediately.
